Once you are at the Ogre Camp, keep following the path up to a branded area.įrom the branded area, use Raptor’s Canyon Jump to leap across to outside of Glint’s Legacy area. Requirement: Raptor Canyon Jumping & Springer Mount High Vault (Mastery Rank 3)įrom Destiny’s Gorge waypoint, follow the right path leading up to a bunch of bamboo ramps that keeps going up to the Ogre camp around Destiny’s Ascent. To reach it, use your springer mount’s high vault to climb up the walls next to the tower and then glide over. Once you are in the area, you should see the mastery insight high up in one of the towers. Make your way from Destiny’s Gorge waypoint and head towards the Sanctum of Nabkha area by following the path outlined in the map. Requirement: Springer Mount High Vault (Mastery Rank 3) Once you make it past the slanted pyramid, keep going north, you want to reach the normal wall of the zone and then start gliding east towards the mastery point. Use your raptor’s dismount function to get you up the little ledge on the left. You will need advanced gliding for this.Go to the slanted pyramid north of the map and go follow the slanted path up. The previous shorter method got patched but you can still access it via the longer gliding method. Swim towards the mastery insight and again use the raptor’s dismount boost to jump higher and higher to reach the mastery insight. Go to the marked arrow location on the map and then use the raptor dismount boost to shoot yourself up the ledge. You are suppose to use a skimmer mount here but it can be done with only raptor mount. The old method to get into here by relogging to character select has been fixed but there is a new way to get in. This is a pretty easy Mastery Insight to reach, just use the stairs to get up on the roof of the building opposite to the Mastery Insight and then leap across.įor this mastery insight all you need to do is to take a swim. I'm abandoning my lvl 42 enchanted and GW2 due to this very bad game design flaw. It would have been too easy to allow for a limited number of increasingly costly skill respecs as other respectable online games allow, like WoW, and too easy to fix this inadequacy with a game patch. Also, a leveling player who purchased worthless skills is at a decided disadvantage to others who may have already screwed up a character by selecting crappy skills - and have learned their lesson. Wasting skill points on worthless skills are skill points NEVER recovered since these wasted skill points could have been spent on items after level 80. Time invested in acquiring these skill points is NOT an unlimited resource and wasting it on worthless skills (there are many) is time never to recovered. Each of us has limited time to play online games, and time is a person's most valued commodity. Wasted skill points are NEVER recoverable since there is a time value associated with every skill point gained. To you die hard defenders at any cost of GW2 who have the lame rationale that "at some point you will have more than enough skill points to purchase every skill", or "you should have tried each in the pvp lobby" or "you should have participated in Beta testing" are missing the logical point here, most GW2 gamers are casual such as myself with real lives and jobs and don't have time for beta testing and many do not like pvp so they would never go to the pvp lobby. Unfortunately there is no way to refund skill points which is a definite disadvantage since you will never get those back and skill points are used not only for skills but for purchasing equipment. The only way to learn whether a skill is actually useful for your style gameplay is to purchase and try it, try every skill out in pvp lobby, or have participated in Beta testing. Traits however CAN be reset by just talking to your trainer for a fee.Due to poor explanation of skills in GW2, there is a good chance a player will make a mistake in spending skill points on useless skills. No need to reset skill points as there are more skill points in-game than you will need to use for every single skill.
